Welcome to the New ZCode
Z Code is a full-featured Agentic Development Environment (ADE) designed to create a seamless collaboration experience between you and AI Agents.
It is more than a chat interface. It is a platform that deeply integrates powerful AI capabilities with core development tools. Through natural language instructions, you can directly drive an Agent to handle the full task lifecycle from coding and bug fixing to project preview.
The new release keeps the same product direction, but moves to a new underlying architecture that makes the desktop workspace more stable and improves long-running tasks, multi-Agent collaboration, and remote development.

Our Vision
- Empower developers: describe your intent in natural language instead of memorizing complex command-line arguments.
- Full-context awareness: Agents can understand project structure, file content, and UI visual elements.
- Safe and controllable: all critical actions that affect the system require your explicit confirmation.
Core Highlights At A Glance
Agent Chat Interaction
Work with Agents through natural language for coding, analysis, and debugging.
MCP Services
Extend Agent capability boundaries through a standardized protocol.
Remote Development
Control desktop development sessions remotely from mobile devices.
What Makes The New Release Stronger
- New architecture: redesigned around the desktop workspace so interaction, responsiveness, and runtime stability fit development scenarios better.
- More stable: both the desktop experience and Agent interaction pipeline have been rebuilt more solidly for long-term daily use.
- Stronger for long-running tasks: better suited for coding, debugging, and collaboration tasks with more steps and longer execution spans.
- More natural multi-Agent collaboration: the in-house ZCode Agent works alongside Claude, Gemini, GLM, OpenCode, and Codex in the same workflow.
- Remote development is now first-class: Remote Workspace is no longer an add-on capability. It is now part of the main product experience.
Still in private beta: the new release is currently in beta. Feedback is welcome. The legacy docs are still available through the entry at the bottom of the sidebar.
